Cowon Plenary D2

The Cowon Plenue D2 is equipped with two Cirrus Logic CS43131 DACs and reproduces a clear, rich, and original sound with great presence. The CS43131 are high-performance DACs with an integrated headphone amplifier. They are very economical in power consumption while ensuring excellent sound quality. Thanks to the dual DAC design, the Cowon Plenue D2's sound is particularly accurate. The comprehensive equalizer setting options via JetEffect, a unique feature of Cowon, enable fine-tuning of the sound according to the user's preferences for the highest individual listening pleasure. In the equalizer presets, you can select the appropriate setting for almost any music style. If you prefer, you can also make individual settings using the 5-band equalizer.

Although the Plenue D2 is lightweight at only 97 grams, it is extremely powerful and capable of reproducing music in its full complexity. The battery life is impressive—when playing high-resolution FLAC files, the Plenue D2 can play music for up to 30 hours, and with MP3 files, even up to 45 hours. The player has a standard 3.5 mm and a balanced 2.5 mm headphone jack. With a high-output headphone mode, the Plenue D2 can be used with power-hungry headphones without an additional amplifier, delivering a detailed, voluminous, distortion-free sound at any volume.

The touch screen display allows for easy operation and clearly displays album covers. Thanks to the physical buttons on the side of the device, one-handed operation is also possible without visual contact. The finely textured black case with a silver aluminum top edge gives the Cowon Plenue D2 a luxurious appearance. The internal memory of 64 GB offers ample space for storing music and can be expanded with microSD cards if needed.
