The Cougar 500M Gaming Mouse stands out not only for its subtle yet elegant design in matte black but also for its advanced technology. It features a proven optical 4,000-DPI sensor from Avago, combined with extremely durable and reliable microswitches from Omron. Together with its high-quality casing and rubberized side grips, Cougar has created a serious tool for winners.

The 500M includes a total of six programmable buttons: a scroll wheel, two main buttons, two thumb buttons, and an additional button behind the scroll wheel. Cougar's UIX software and three profiles stored within the mouse itself allow for extensive customization of button assignments and lighting. The durable gaming buttons from Omron are rated for at least 5 million clicks, and the mouse connects to the PC via a 1.8-meter long USB cable, which is coated for maximum durability.
