This 4-port SATA PCIe adapter uses a combination of Asmedia high-performance chips (ASM1061+ASM1093) to add 4 SATA ports. Each Serial ATA port supports transfer speeds up to 6Gb/s and is backward compatible with legacy SATA 1.5Gb/s or 3Gb/s drives. In addition, the card supports mode switching and can be effortlessly switched between IDE and AHCI systems.
