Summary:
Murmel, the cuddly marmot, guides children playfully through Austria in this picture book atlas. This way, even kindergarten children get a first overview of the federal states and their special features. The focus is on the natural and animal world, but also on Austria's cultural diversity.

Mag. Angela Picha, born in 1958, studied commercial illustration and photography at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Initially, she was mainly self-employed as a commercial artist, later working in an American advertising agency with a focus on storyboard and packaging design. Since 1984, she has been a freelance graphic designer and product stylist for school product companies. Recently, she has expanded her spectrum with great pleasure in illustrating school and children's books. She lives with her family in Vienna.
