Cokin Nuances polarising filter circ. 62mm

The Nuances C-PL filters are made from high-resolution mineral glass Schott B270i and absorb one stop of light. In sunny weather—especially during the morning or evening hours—and at a right angle (90°) between the shooting angle and the position of the sun, a polarizing filter will darken the blue of the sky and highlight the clouds. Polarizing filters significantly enhance color saturation, resulting in greener greens, more intense reds, and brighter yellows. You will be amazed at how certain colors that appear dull to the naked eye become vibrant and radiant with this filter. In all weather conditions, polarizing filters reduce, eliminate, and deepen reflections on non-metallic surfaces such as water or windows. They enhance vegetation, transform bodies of water, and open up vistas. Note that with wide-angle lenses of 24mm and shorter (in 35mm photography jargon), the side of the image that is furthest from the sun will appear darker than the other. This is an unavoidable optical phenomenon that is independent of the polarizing filter.
