Whether you are commuting to the office during the day, taking a ride on your favorite trail in the evening, or going on a long tour over the weekend, you can configure the display to your specific needs with minimal effort and complete intuitiveness. The compact device is, of course, also your ideal companion on hikes. When you activate the navigation function, a large arrow continuously indicates the direction and upcoming turns. In pure navigation mode, you will see a sharp and well-readable map section in front of you, showing all the important details in the surrounding area—including a clear directional arrow. As with car navigation systems, the Navic 400 allows you to activate the home function: it will immediately display the fastest route to your home address. Also included in the navigation comfort package is the route suggestion function. By entering a starting point and a destination, the Navic 400 calculates a route, the profile of which the user can determine in advance.
