Chord Hugo2

The wonder of Chord is called Hugo 2. It is the evolution of the legendary Hugo from Chord. It is simply a fantastic portable DAC, preamplifier, and headphone amplifier with a battery.

The Hugo 2 features various digital inputs: USB, TOSLINK, and COAX. This allows you to connect computers, smartphones, CD players, and almost anything imaginable to the Hugo 2. It even has a Bluetooth AptX interface, enabling you to stream music directly from your phone to the Hugo 2. While this doesn't fully utilize the potential of the Hugo 2, it can still be quite practical.

The Hugo 2 has a standard RCA output for stationary use, as well as a 3.5 mm and a 6.3 mm headphone output. The power of the Class-A amplifier is sufficient even for high-impedance headphones.

The Hugo 2 supports all common audio formats and bitrates. It is a small marvel of technology that feels at home in all environments, whether on the go or at home.

Inside, it has a built-in battery for portable use, with a runtime of about 7 hours and a charging time of approximately 3 hours via USB. Of course, the Hugo 2 can also be operated directly from the power supply for stationary use.
