In our current X-10 models, the vehicle is equipped with a controller/receiver unit with a safety shut-off. This prevents uncontrolled movement of the model if the trim knob on the throttle control is adjusted. The trim pot for the neutral position is somewhat sensitive in the X-10 models, so it may happen that the model can be steered after switching on, but does not respond to throttle. In this case, there is no defect; the forward/reverse trim is just slightly misadjusted and not exactly in the neutral position. Please reset the trim pot to neutral and turn the controller off and on again, then the control will function perfectly again. Compatible replacement battery 500608152.
