The drawings can be blended or smudged with the finger, textured by rubbing the lead on sandpaper, or used for watercolor techniques. The pencil barrels are fully painted, and their caps shine in the same bright color as the lead. Soft, break-resistant lead allows for a clear, precise line, suitable for techniques such as hatching, washing, dry drawing, or watercolor, layering.
