Calliope mini 3.0 incl. Jacdac extensions

The Calliope mini is a microcontroller designed as an educational tool for children from the third grade onwards, typically under adult supervision. The Calliope mini demonstrates that everyone can code – and do so with a lot of fun. The entry point is easy, allowing children, teachers, and parents to get started without prior knowledge. From the first self-programmed blinking light to self-driving robots and wirelessly communicating Calliope mini swarms: with just a few clicks, users can create their own programs for the microprocessor on a connected computer, bringing the Calliope mini to life.

The Calliope mini Starter Box includes a board along with accessories:

• Battery holder with batteries
• USB cable
• Booklet for the first computer-independent applications and one with programming examples
• Rubber band (for securing the battery compartment)
• Stickers.

Includes Jacdac expansion set. The Calliope mini 3 is equipped with two Jacdac connectors. These allow various Jacdac modules to be easily combined by simple connection. Jacdac also enables direct communication via WebUSB with a connected computer. Jacdac is particularly designed for programming via USB cable connection with MakeCode, as the sensors and actuators are automatically detected and displayed. This automatic detection currently does not work via Bluetooth.
