The Calliope mini 3 is characterised by its user-friendliness, versatility and expandability. Students can learn applied programming concepts with a block-based programming language.

The Calliope mini 3 can also be programmed with various text-based programming languages such as MicroPython.

The numerous integrated sensors, Grove and Jacdac connectors, 3 RGB LEDs and 25 LEDs enable real-life applications, which promotes interest in computer science and technology.

Thanks to its robustness and open-source design, the Calliope mini is ideal for use in a school environment to offer pupils creative access to the digital world from the 3rd grade onwards.

The Calliope mini 3 is currently programmed with MakeCode and MicroPython.
