The HDMI HDBaseT + 3.5 mm, USB-B to A, and RS232 over Cat Extension Box Transmitter to Box Receiver – 4K 60 Hz allows for the extension of a 4K HDMI source device up to 40 meters to a 4K display using a single Cat6a Ethernet cable. This is the ideal solution for situations where USB needs to be extended alongside HDMI video and audio to interactive whiteboards and displays in conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and other installations that far exceed the length limitations of conventional HDMI cables.

The transmitter extends HDMI and high-speed USB 2.0 signals over a single Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6a network patch cable. Extend 4K HDMI up to 35 meters and 1080p up to 70 meters using a Cat5e or Cat6 cable. For greater 4K distances, extend 4K HDMI up to 40 meters using a Cat6a cable.

This HDMI HDBaseT extension is compatible with HDCP 2.2 to ensure that the connection between the source device and the display is secure. One-way analog audio pass-through is supported from the transmitter to the receiver. High-speed USB 2.0 pass-through is supported over HDBaseT up to 70 meters for KVM control of devices such as USB cameras, keyboards, mice, etc. With PoH support, the transmitter powers both the transmitter and receiver, eliminating the need for an additional power adapter, allowing for greater installation flexibility. Support this HDBaseT system already in use by updating the software via the RS232 port.

Note: Ensure a solid, reliable connection between the 4K HDMI HDBaseT extension and critical devices. We recommend using HDMI cables with locking connectors, which provide a better fit in the connection compared to conventional HDMI cables.
