The circular polarizing filter enhances the sky and foliage. It has a diameter of 72 mm and reduces glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces. Additionally, it increases the saturation of the sky and foliage and eliminates haze in landscapes, resulting in richer, more vibrant colors.

The filter is equipped with the exclusive Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) Nano-Premium coating technology, which improves optical imaging properties. The nano all-round protection on the filter glass ensures increased scratch resistance and extremely easy and quick cleaning. The durable and robust brass filter ring provides additional stability.

In these high-end polarizing filters, the polarization film is precisely specified, and the film pieces are carefully selected. After being glued between high-quality cover glasses, an additional grinding and polishing process ensures excellent sharpness even with fast apochromatic lenses.

The most advanced bonding technology ensures long-term stability, even in humid climates. The new generation of Käsemann High Transmission (HTC) polarizing filters is equipped with a new polarization film that offers higher light transmission while maintaining excellent efficiency. The filter extension factor is only 2 to 3, which corresponds to about 1 to 1.5 f-stops.

Polarizing filters are ideal for high-contrast images as they block light of a specific polarization direction, thereby minimizing reflections on glass or water surfaces. They also enhance colors and contrasts in landscape photography: the blue sky appears even bluer against the white clouds, and the colorful leaves in autumn look more intense and vibrant.
