Product details

B+W Black and White Filter

As the name suggests, B+W Black and White Filters are primarily used in black and white photography.

For example, yellow filters can enhance the brilliance of landscape shots and better differentiate plant greens. Yellow and orange filters can transform fluffy clouds into dramatic cloudscapes, while red filters can intensify them to stormy levels or create moonlight effects during the day.

Key Features

  • Optimization of gray tones for expressive images
  • Available as yellow, orange, and red filters
  • Suitable for both analog and digital cameras
  • Made in Germany

Tip

With digital cameras that have a black and white mode, contrast enhancements can be achieved directly during shooting.

BASIC Orange 550 (040)

This already quite vibrant B+W 040 Orange Filter 550 significantly darkens violet and blue, strongly affects green, and even slightly darkens yellow-green. Landscape and architectural shots exhibit increased, almost "graphic" contrast, and cloudy skies can appear dramatically.

Coating: MRC.
