The Busch-Jaeger proximity switch insert 6406 U is an innovative relay insert that operates with a 3-wire connection technology and requires a neutral conductor. This switch allows for contactless switching on and off of electrical consumers, such as light sources. It is versatile and can control incandescent lamps, 230 V halogen lamps, fluorescent lamps, as well as low-voltage halogen lamps powered by transformers. The switch responds to approaches of less than 5 cm, enabling comfortable operation. Additionally, the insert can also be operated via conventional push buttons, which increases flexibility in application.
