Product details
Thanks to the High-Density Winding Technology, the transformer of the Conductor V2+, which supports headphones and preamplifiers, delivers a very high output power. As a pure Class A amplifier with field-effect transistors, the Conductor V2+ utilizes two 70W transformers and provides over 8200 mW per channel at 16 Ohms. It is effortlessly capable of driving even the most demanding and highly sensitive headphones.
The Texas Instruments PGA2310 used is a top model among volume control chips. With an impressive dynamic range of 120 dB and a distortion factor of 0.0004%, it allows for volume control in 0.5 dB steps. The Conductor V2+ operates absolutely smoothly and quietly with the PGA2310, without any moving mechanical parts.
The DAC design allows for DSP volume control, which is integrated into the Sabre32 DAC chip used. This means that with a digital input source, the volume is controlled via the Sabre32 DAC, bypassing the PGA230 volume control.
The XMOS 6 Core USB module enables 32-bit/384 kHz sampling rates and supports DSD256 streaming. The Conductor V2+ employs a triple low jitter clock structure for the highest possible degree of jitter correction. The Conductor V2+ plays digital content with the utmost sound fidelity, regardless of the operating system used.
