It is a new series of 2-way solenoid valves designed as normally closed contacts from Burkert. Made of brass, it is suitable for use with water and inert liquids and gases. A soft mechanical coupling between the main piston and the pilot armature assists with soft actuation, and the precision-engineered main housing path contributes to quiet, water hammer-free operation. It is suitable for a wide range of applications including compressed air and vacuum systems, heating and air conditioning, water treatment, and swimming pool technology. Its compact size simplifies installation in confined spaces. The valve operates at 0-10 bar pressure with a response time of 0.1-4 seconds, opens without differential pressure, and requires a minimum pressure differential of 0.5 bar for full opening. It features a high flow rate, sealed coil, and protection class IP65.
