It is a new series of 2-way solenoid valves designed as normally closed contacts by Burkert. Made of brass, it is suitable for use with water as well as with inert liquids and gases. A soft mechanical coupling between the main piston and the pilot actuator supports smooth operation, while the precision-engineered main housing path contributes to quiet, impact-free operation. It is suitable for a variety of applications, including compressed air and vacuum systems, heating and air conditioning, water treatment, and swimming pool technology. Its compact size facilitates installation in tight spaces. The operating pressure ranges from 0 to 10 bar with a response time of 0.1 to 4 seconds. It opens without differential pressure and requires a minimum pressure difference of 0.5 bar for full opening, providing a high flow rate. The sealed coil has a protection rating of IP65.
