It is a new series of normally closed 2-way solenoid valves manufactured by Burkert. Made of brass, it is designed for use with water as well as inert liquids and gases. A gentle mechanical coupling between the main piston and the pilot actuator supports smooth operation, and the precisely machined main body path contributes to quiet, impact-free operation. It is suitable for a variety of applications, including compressed air and vacuum systems, heating and air conditioning, water treatment, and swimming pool equipment. Its compact size simplifies installation where space is limited. It has an operating pressure of 0-10 bar and a response time of 0.1-4 seconds. It opens without differential pressure and requires a minimum pressure difference of 0.5 bar for full opening. It offers a high flow rate and a sealed coil with IP65 protection.
