Product details
Cables and batteries are no longer necessary during recording with the BY-V1. The transmitter with a built-in microphone is attached to the clothing of the person you want to record. In addition, the built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 9 hours of power. The sound is recorded by your iPhone or iPad. To do this, connect the receiver to the Lightning port of your iOS device. The BY-V1 is ready for immediate use with both audio and video apps. You simply start your video recording with the standard app for iOS/iPadOS, which automatically adds the sound of the microphone to your recordings.
In practice, the transmitter and receiver of the BY-V1 have a range of up to 50 meters. Despite its compact size, you have a stable connection thanks to the reliable 2.4 GHz frequency. In buildings or other places with a lot of radio signals, the range is still more than sufficient. The BY-M1LV-D is MFi-certified and therefore 100% compatible with iPhone and iPad thanks to the built-in Apple chip. With the mute button, the person wearing the microphone can mute the sound. There is also an NR button on the microphone that filters out noise so that only the pure sound remains. If your mobile runs out of power while recording, you can connect a USB-C charger to the receiver in your iOS device.
If you are looking for a plug-and-play solution to record speech in high quality with your iPhone or iPad, the BY-V1 is the ideal accessory. It is practical for interviews and presentations, for example. The BY-V1 transmitter and receiver are ready for use straight out of the box. The omnidirectional microphone picks up all speech sounds without cracking, regardless of whether the person is speaking quietly or loudly. With the indicator light on the transmitter and receiver, you can see the current status at a glance. If you are recording outdoors, use a windscreen to minimize wind noise. You can find these in the optional accessories.
