The lamps from Bocci's 28 series can also be used as table lamps, featuring an integrated dimming system mounted in an elongated brass cylinder. The black fabric cord is semi-rigid and can be shaped. At the bottom of the brass mount, there is a small notch, allowing you to hang it on the wall as needed.

The Bocci 28t table lamp is a beautiful glass globe on a brushed brass base. Designed by Omer Arbel, the lamp is operated via a round brass dial on the semi-rigid cable. The brass dial can be opened and closed to serve as a power switch.

Wall Light & Table Light in One - 28t Lamp

The Bocci 28t can be used as both a table and a wall lamp. Thanks to the small notch on the back of the brass base, the lamp can be mounted on the wall. The brass rotary switch can also be wall-mounted. This way, the semi-rigid cable becomes a feature, as you can shape it as desired.

Unique Glassblowing Technique in 28t Table Lamp

The Bocci 28 series is produced using a complex glassblowing technique, where air pressure is intermittently introduced into a glass matrix and then removed. The matrix is intermittently heated and then rapidly cooled. The result is a distorted spherical shape that contains a composite set of insert forms, one of which serves as a shade for the light source.
