Ebenfalls ein wunderschönes Gehäuse aus Aluminium und ebenfalls eine Schlaufe aus Leder. Diesmal aber nicht aus Italien, sondern aus Dänemark. Bis zu 24 Stunden spielt der Beoplay A1 Musik per Bluetooth 4.2 und dank integriertem Mikrofon dient er auch als praktische Freisprecheinrichtung. Auch Siri und der Google Assistant werden darüber mit Sprachbefehlen gefüttert.
Anhänglich. Die flache „Dose“ kommt mit einem Lederband daher und lässt sich damit zum Beispiel an Türgriffe hängen. Sorgt für Rundumklang. Etwas schlanker, dennoch ausgewogener Ton mit kräftigen Höhen. Lässt sich wegen kleiner und schlecht lesbarer Tasten nicht gut bedienen. Der Akku hält 19 Stunden, bei maximaler Lautstärke nur 4 Stunden. Leicht.
Die Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay A1 überzeugt im Test mit einem klaren, differenzierten Sound und wird so unser Klangsieger. Bei Ausstattung und Mobilität schafft er es aber leider nur unter "Ferner liefen". Das kostet Punkte in der Gesamtwertung.
Allerdings möchte ich inzwischen, wenn ich so viel Geld ausgebe, mehr Möglichkeiten nutzen können. So wäre es fein, wenn die Box auch über Airplay und NFC verfügen würde. Außerdem vermisse ich, aber das ist bei fast allen mobilen Lösungen der Fall, die Möglichkeit, diese Boxen in bestehende Systeme zu integrieren...
Mit seinem Format erinnert der Beoplay A1 an die beliebten Ultimate Ears Roll. Dabei geht sein Design einen völlig anderen Weg: Edel verarbeitetes Aluminium in harmonischer Form, auf Outdoortauglichkeit durch Dichtungen verzichtet der A1.
