To ensure that young adventurers have light when it gets dark, there is the Wiz Headlamp from Black Diamond. A child-safe screw cap and an elastic safety strap with a predetermined breaking point protect the children. The lamp head can tilt in both directions, so it's not a problem if the lamp is worn upside down. To save battery, the lamp automatically turns off after two hours. The two SinglePower LEDs are powered by two AAA batteries and provide a brightness of 30 lumens in close range at maximum setting, with dimming and flashing modes.
