... The sound of the Xelento Remote (2nd gen.) is both powerful and fissy due to its excessive emphasis on bass and hi-hats. This could be compensated by software (see c't 22/2022, p. 104), but it does not do justice to the audiophile claim and the price.
- Excellently tuned sound
- powerful basses
- perfect timing
- Cable routing behind the ears could be better
59 This speaker performed at a world-class level, in all situations! There was no genre it didn't like, it always delivered a well-balanced, slightly warm sound with excellent timbre. The only criticism is the cable routing.

- excellent sound// great fit
- Balanced and unbalanced plug
The Beyerdynamic Xelenteo 2nd generation is an excellent in-ear monitor. Those who have so far found Beyerdynamic headphones tonally a bit peaky will be pleased with the gently tamed treble. It is remarkable that Beyerdynamic resists the current percentage increases. The AH T8iE cost 990 euros in 2016, the Xelento Remote 2nd generation currently costs 999 euros...

The Xelento Remote 2 offer the best sound we have ever heard from in-ear headphones, even without an equaliser. However, the audiophile fun is not cheap.
