The DT 1990 PRO MKII studio headphones mark the second generation of the popular premium model and are suitable for mixing, mastering and editing thanks to their open design and excellent stereo imaging. Manufactured in Germany, it impresses with improved sound, increased wearing comfort and industry-leading build quality. The centrepiece is the Tesla.45 driver technology. Redesigned from the ground up, the 45 mm driver system impresses with excellent resolution, extremely low distortion and outstanding impulse behaviour. Thanks to weight-optimised materials, Tesla.45 combines the best sound quality and flexibility in equal measure. The DT 1990 PRO MKII has an impedance of 30 ohms, which means that the studio headphones can be used with different end devices. In terms of sound, the reference headphones impress with precise and far-reaching bass reproduction for open headphones. Compared to the previous model, the slightly reduced highs offer a high information content and help to avoid wrong decisions in the mix, especially in modern productions with a complex high frequency profile. The studio headphones are extremely comfortable to wear during extended studio sessions. The robust spring steel headband construction ensures ideal contact pressure. Heat build-up is prevented by the comfortable velour ear pads. The memory foam headband adapts perfectly to the shape of the head and avoids pressure-sensitive areas thanks to the fontanel cut-out. The headband and ear pads can be replaced if necessary. The DT 1990 PRO MKII is supplied with two different ear pad variants for maximum flexibility. The standard "Producing velours" provide a slight bass boost for a fuller sound image, while the "Mixing
