In the test, the BenQ SW271C proved to be an interesting graphics monitor that comes with an anti-glare bonnet from the factory. At a price level of around 1500 euros, however, it has to fend off strong competition in this sector.
The BenQ SW271C is an excellent choice for professional users in the graphic and creative fields. It features native 4K/UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) and delivers maximum color accuracy thanks to precise hardware calibration capabilities, a 16-bit 3D Look-Up Table, and a Δ-E value of under 2. These strengths are complemented by very flexible ergonomics and a wide range of connectivity options.
Its advanced IPS panel provides 100% sRGB, 99% AdobeRGB, and 97% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The monitor also supports the HDR10 standard. It is factory pre-calibrated to a high precision of ΔE<2. The Uniformity Technology regulates color and brightness across hundreds of sub-sections for maximum consistency throughout the entire display area. The monitor can be calibrated with external colorimeters from the X-Rite i1 and Datacolor Spyder series.
