Product details
The multi-frequency RFID reader can read the UID numbers of 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz RFID tags (transponders, optional). This technology is particularly suitable for harsh industrial environments where even strongly adhesive PVC barcode labels do not stick to the test object, such as construction sites, production facilities, and workshops.
The identification of the test object is done via radio frequency (Radio Frequency Identification) without line of sight or direct contact with the RFID tag. Each RFID tag has a globally unique UID number (unique identifier), which can be read contactlessly by the RFID reader and assigned to the test object. The RFID reader is compact (88 x 56 x 18 mm), portable, and easy to use. Depending on the size of the tag, a reading distance of up to 50 mm is required. The permanently attached cable is approximately 195 cm long and features a USB-A connector.
Optionally, three different types of 125 kHz tags can be purchased for this RFID reader, including self-adhesive RFID tags, RFID tags with a permanently attached cable tie, and RFID tag keychains.
Advantages of this RFID technology include:
- Usable in harsh environments with various RFID tags
- Time-saving (no need to set your own ID number, no writing to the tag)
- Utilization of the globally unique UID number
- Fast reading speed.
