The KM1200 large diaphragm dynamic capsule is specifically tuned for kick drums. Mount this microphone on a short microphone stand and position it directly inside the kick drum opening. Aim the microphone directly at the beater for more attack, or at the outer edge of the drum for a more resonant sound.

The TM1200 medium diaphragm dynamic capsules are specifically tuned for toms and snares. Attach clamps to each microphone and then secure them to the rim of a tom or snare drum. The angle and distance from the microphone to the drumhead are adjustable. Position each towards the center of the drumhead for best results.

The directional small diaphragm condenser capsules CM1200 are specifically tuned for crash, hi-hat, and ride cymbals. Mount the microphones on a pair of boom stands and position them to achieve the desired delicate/silky highs. Each microphone should be positioned about 1 meter above a ride cymbal and a hi-hat, pointing straight down. You can also position both microphones directly above the snare drum in an "XY" pattern, with the capsule ends nearly touching, one aimed at the ride cymbal and the other at the hi-hat.
