Current clamp for grounding measurement in closed grounding systems without the need for ground spikes. In grounding systems with interconnected electrodes that form a closed loop (e.g., the lightning protection system of a building), the grounding resistance of each ground loop can be quickly and safely determined using a current clamp for ground loop measurement (DGC-1000A).

The DGC-1000A current clamp is a device that essentially contains two current clamps housed in one unit. This clamp combines the functions of two current clamps required for spike-free ground loop resistance measurement into a compact and user-friendly measuring instrument. One clamp induces a measuring current into the ground loop, while the second clamp measures the current through the electrode, from which the resistance of the ground loop for the respective electrode is calculated.
