The board uses gyroscope modules and acceleration sensors to calculate the center of gravity. By leaning forward or backward on the Beamie, the tilt angle of the device changes, causing the wheels to rotate in the direction you lean.

In addition to steering sensitivity, the maximum speed can also be set (default setting: 12 km/h). The app also provides information on battery charge status, operating temperature, current speed, distance traveled, and remaining range.
