It is activated automatically by sound (Vox function). The Baby Monitor Expert Care (Digital Green) features a range of alerts (acoustic, visual, and vibration), a battery consumption indicator, an out-of-range alarm, a volume control, and a night light on the baby unit. The parent unit contains a lithium battery and is easily charged with the mains adapter. The baby unit operates with AAA batteries (not included) or with a mains adapter (included).
