The MXS 5.0 is a sophisticated microprocessor-controlled battery charger with built-in automatic temperature compensation that offers unrivalled performance when charging lead-acid batteries from 1.2 Ah up to 110 Ah.
The MXS 5.0 solves a range of battery problems and is an ideal charger for the discerning user. The functions of the MXS 5.0 include battery condition diagnostics to determine whether the battery can accept and hold a charge, a patented automatic desulphation step and a special reconditioning step that restores batteries in which acid layers have formed, as well as deeply discharged batteries.
The AGM option is ideal for maximising the performance and service life of most start-stop batteries. The in-built temperature compensation guarantees ideal charging performance even under extreme conditions. The patented float/pulse trickle charge makes the MXS 5.0 ideal for long-term maintenance. The entire process of battery testing, charging and maintenance can be easily tracked on the clear LED display.
The MXS 5.0 is a fully automatic 12 V charger based on the "connect and forget" principle with 8 charging stages; it offers selectable SMALL BATTERY and NORMAL BATTERY programmes. The RECOND and AGM options work independently or together in both the SMALL BATTERY and NORMAL BATTERY programmes, giving the user great flexibility.
Wide charging range for all lead-acid battery types from 1.2 Ah up to 110 Ah with additional trickle charge capacity up to 160 Ah. Splashproof and dustproof (IP65). The MXS 5.0 is safe and easy to use, spark-free, reverse polarity protected and short-circuit proof, and protects the vehicle electronics.
