The Aune S8 is a DAC with balanced and single-ended outputs. It is equipped with the SABRE ES9038PRO high-end DAC chip and supports USB input signals of up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD512. The S8 produces a natural, very musical sound and reproduces every detail with a live character and excellent dynamics.
The Aune S8 high-end DAC features one USB, coaxial, optical, AES, and ISS input, making it versatile for various scenarios. For example, you can connect your laptop to the S8 via USB or use a streamer, CD player, or a hi-res player through the coaxial or optical input. The S8 can be connected to an amplifier both symmetrically and asymmetrically: it can be used symmetrically via the gold-plated XLR output and asymmetrically via the also gold-plated RCA output with different equipment. The large, easily readable display and the buttons on the front of the device allow for simple and user-friendly operation of the S8. A remote control is also included in the package.
