The COMfortel 1400 IP does not force you into a system decision, as it is a true hybrid VoIP phone. It can be used both as a system phone with an Auerswald IP PBX and as a standard SIP phone with a soft PBX or IP Centrex solution from various manufacturers and providers. No matter which solution you choose, the COMfortel 1400 IP always fits in perfectly.

The COMfortel 1400 IP can be operated via buttons and a navigation cross, but also like a smartphone through the touch function of its 3.5-inch display. It features ten programmable keys with built-in status LEDs, which can be assigned to system, destination dialing, and SIP functions. In daily use, the COMfortel 1400 IP impresses with excellent wideband voice quality (HD Voice). It even provides noticeably improved speech intelligibility when the communication partner is using a conventional phone with narrowband voice coding – a true innovation in this product area.

After optional activation of features via the Auerswald Upgrade Center, emails as well as calendar and contact data can be easily synchronized via push service from your Google account, TelekomCloud, Apple iCloud, or a Microsoft Exchange account. The integrated answering machine and support for IP cameras can also be easily activated for a small fee.

For connecting standard headsets, the COMfortel 1400 IP offers a separate interface. An LED integrated at the top of the display housing signals calls and messages in the voicemail box. This versatile phone even has the option for wall mounting: simply remove the housing feet used to adjust the tilt when placed as a desktop device, and the COMfortel 1400 IP can be mounted vertically.
