When it came to utilizing the most efficient communication channels, small to medium-sized enterprises often found themselves "left out in the rain": If the existing infrastructure was primarily based on analog or ISDN technology, it hindered the connection to modern solutions. Until now.
What is commonly referred to as "Small Office"... Similar to the term "Mittelstand," the category "Small Office" is quite broad: it ranges from a one-person company in a shared office to a manufacturing business with dozens of employees. The key criterion is the total number of telephone connections, and sometimes a little trick helps: While the available internal VoIP channels limit the number of simultaneous VoIP connections, the maximum capacity is rarely reached. That’s why we developed the Auerswald VoIP-Over-Commitment (VOC), which allows more VoIP phones to register and operate on the system than there are actual internal VoIP channels. Depending on the system's load, up to 32 VoIP participants can always be registered on the system.
