The I5 stands for accurate and very natural sound reproduction thanks to a dynamic capsule with a cardioid pattern and a Type B VLM membrane. Since this universal microphone can handle sound pressure levels of up to 140 dB without distortion and has a frequency response range of 50 Hz to 16 kHz, it is the first choice for capturing snare drums, percussion, electric guitar and bass cabinets/combo amps, various acoustic instruments, or pure speech.

The high-quality metal die-cast housing with a zinc alloy is equipped with a sturdy steel grille that effectively protects the capsule behind it. This high mechanical standard ensures a low failure rate and a very long lifespan.
