Product details
The 6000CDT is the latest CD transport from Audiolab. Utilizing Audiolab's slot-loading mechanism, the transport employs digital pre-reading to reduce errors when reading discs and achieve the highest level of digital signal extraction from a variety of CDs, even being able to read scratched and damaged CDs that are unreadable by conventional mechanisms. The integrated digital decoder uses digital coaxial and optical outputs to achieve maximum versatility. The main clock is controlled by a temperature-compensated quartz oscillator, allowing the digital output from both coaxial and optical sockets to exhibit extremely low jitter levels (digital distortion).
Additionally, the coaxial output is powered by a differential line driver to ensure that a flawless digital signal reaches the associated DAC. Naturally, the 32-bit DAC range in the integrated 6000A amplifier is an excellent sound match. By mounting the transport in its own electromagnetically shielded enclosure and using a dedicated power supply, the digital signal extraction from each CD is as accurate and precise as possible.
