The AT-VMx series cartridges bring new warmth and realism to Audio-Technica's premium MM product line with dual moving magnet cartridges, offering a wide, vibrant, and detailed soundstage. The new lightweight microlinear stylus of the AT-VM745xML tracks the record groove with incredible precision and delivers an exceptionally detailed audio reproduction that elliptical and conical styli cannot match. The solid boron cantilever also supports this fine, nuanced sound profile, as the signal transmission occurs about 2.5 times faster than with the hollow aluminum cantilever of the previous model, resulting in more accurate reproduction of dynamic musical passages. All cartridges in the AT-VMx series feature identical housings and interchangeable styli, allowing them to be combined with nearly all AT-VMx replacement styli (all except mono models). This gives you the opportunity to quickly and easily experiment with different sound characteristics.
