Product details

The future of sound has arrived with Audio-Technica's DSR7BT Bluetooth headphones. The Pure Digital Drive system redefines wireless audio playback. The audio signal is reproduced faithfully by delivering the original digital signal from the source directly to the driver without D/A conversion, which typically diminishes sound quality. Wireless digital audio signals are transmitted via Bluetooth directly to the headphone drivers. Compared to conventional wireless headphones, the signal remains completely digital from the audio source with Pure Digital Drive, without a digital-to-analog converter and the associated sound losses. The 45 mm True Motion D/A driver ensures high sound fidelity. A 7N-OFC voice coil accurately reproduces the original digital signal, while a diaphragm coated with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) enhances stability and extends the frequency range. The Pure Digital Drive system provides a fully digital signal chain from the audio source to the driver, transmitting all details of the digital signal. The specially developed 45 mm True Motion D/A driver for the ATH-DSR7BT reproduces every detail of the music while delivering a natural, balanced sound. The double-layer isolation structure separates electrical and acoustic spaces to optimize sound performance and reduce unwanted resonances. Soft memory foam ear cushions enhance comfort for longer listening sessions. Hi-Res Audio is compatible via USB connection (up to 96 kHz/24-bit). Bluetooth 4.2 supports aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs. Touch control and volume controls allow for managing music and calls. LED indicators provide information on connection and charging status, as well as battery life and codec type. The package includes a 2.0 m USB connection cable and a carrying case.
