The complete system consists of the pickup AT-VM95SH and headshell AT-HS6BK, designed for high-quality audiophile music reproduction. The stereo pickup AT-VM95SH features a dual moving magnet system and a Shibata pickup needle, providing pleasant midrange and treble reproduction with higher volume for midrange frequencies. The pickup needle is bare Shibata, measuring 2.7 x 0.26 mil, with a hollow aluminum needle carrier, making it ideal for high-end audiophile applications.

Output voltage is 3.5 mV, and the tracking force ranges from 1.8g to 2.2g, with 2.0g as the standard. The recommended load impedance is 47,000 Ω, and the recommended load capacitance is 100-200 pF. The frequency range spans from 20 Hz to 25,000 Hz. The system comes pre-mounted on the headshell AT-HS6BK, which has a die-cast aluminum housing weighing 9 grams. It allows for mounting without nuts, with 4 M2.6 screws and 2 plastic washers included.

Pickup needles of all six VM95 cartridge models are interchangeable and 100% compatible. The AT-VM95SH features a bare Shibata needle, highly appreciated for audiophile high-end applications. The Shibata cut enables rich, full bass and mids, with a frequency response up to 25,000 Hz.
