Audeze LCDi4

With the LCDi4, Audeze offers an astonishing in-ear listening experience. The award-winning design of the LCD-4 has been adapted and scaled down to create a portable in-ear headphone. The bass resonance is flat from 900 Hz down to 5 Hz, and a single driver provides a phase-coherent sound that is often lacking in multi-driver in-ears. With an impedance of 35 ohms, the LCDi4 should be used with a high-quality headphone amplifier. The same ultra-thin diaphragm used in the LCD-4 is also employed in the LCDi4, along with the patented Fluxor magnet technology and Uniforce voice coils. The total harmonic distortion (THD) is lower than 0.2% even at high volumes. Each earpiece weighs 12 grams and features a premium magnesium housing and a high-quality cable made of oxygen-free copper. The driver design of the LCDi4 incorporates an ultra-thin film that allows for an exceptional frequency response and excellent transient response. This thin film is developed using a special process that makes the metal layer on the film easily deformable. Each piece is then individually assembled and matched with an accuracy of +/- 1 dB. To bring the sound of the renowned LCD series into in-ear headphones, Audeze has closely collaborated with their strategic partners Designworks USA and the BMW Group. Every component of the series is designed to deliver the signature Audeze sound in a smaller format. All headphones are handcrafted in California to ensure the highest quality.
