For data security, Asus employs two safety measures, offering password protection and encryption, as well as a feature for encrypting file names. The Disc Encryption function provides double protection for the data being safeguarded. It can protect the entire disc or just specific parts with a password and offers the option to encrypt file names.

The E-Green technology can automatically close drive applications when they are not in use, thereby reducing power consumption by up to 50%. With the Drag-and-Burn function, copying media and burning files is effortless. A new disc can be created in just three simple steps. Files to be burned can be easily dragged and dropped onto the software interface. The burning process can then be initiated with a simple click of the "Burn" button. The integrated stand allows for both horizontal and vertical positioning, providing more space and greater convenience.
