The elegant DVD burner SDRW-08D2S-U from ASUS achieves up to 8x burning speed for DVDs and up to 24x speed for CDs. It is designed for both horizontal and vertical operation and supports not only standard 12 cm but also 8 cm CDs and DVDs. The burner is equipped with Asus E-Green technology. The E-Green mode is activated when the burner remains in idle state for more than two minutes. Unused applications are closed to save energy. Additionally, detailed information about the energy saved is displayed.
