Mit dem ROG SWIFT PG278Q wird ASUS abermals seiner Vorreiterrolle gerecht und schickt mit ihm das weltweit erste WQHD-Display mit G-Sync ins Rennen. Dass es sich hierbei um einen waschechten Gaming-Monitor handelt, wird schon bei der kargen Anschlussauswahl klar, denn außer einem DisplayPort steht kein weiterer Signaleingang zur Verfügung und wird potentielle Käufer, die andere Entertainmentgeräte...

Der Asus ist zwar recht hochpreisig kann aber dafür mit einer top Spieletauglichkeit sowie exzellenter Bedienung aufwarten. Dabei ist auch die Darstellung der Farben sehr natürlich und das Modell ist hervorragend verarbeitet. Nur der Blickwinkel könnte hier etwas größer ausfallen und die Ausleuchtung ist eher mager. Dennoch ein top Display mit einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Obwohl der Asus wahrlich kein Schnäppchen ist hat er aufgrund seiner Technik einiges zu bieten und stößt offenbar deshalb auf reges Interesse. Das Bild ist auch bei schnellen Bewegungen wie etwa in Games sehr scharf und der Blickwinkel verhältnismäßig groß. Zudem optimiert die eingebaute G-Sync Technik im Panel das Bild deutlich. Allerdings fehlt eine HDMI Schnittstelle am Display.

Auch wenn der Preis für das WHQD Display recht hoch ausfällt, kann sich der Gamer hier auf ein top Produkt freuen dessen Reaktionszeit sowie Inputlag über jeden Zweifel erhaben ist. Besonders bei schnellen Bewegungen zeigt der Asus seine Klasse und vermeidet jedwede Ruckler. Zudem ist der Blickwinkel zwar nicht so hoch wie bei einem IPS Panel aber dennoch recht ordentlich.
