The Asus ROG Strix XG279Q is a 27-inch monitor with WQHD resolution and a 170 Hertz panel in the sweet spot of gaming monitors. The range of devices in this segment is correspondingly large. So it seems almost outrageous to give the device a price tag of around 900 euros. Our test run put this impression into perspective...

With the ROG Swift PG279Q, ASUS has succeeded in developing the PG278Q further. The detailed design remains almost unchanged and offers all ergonomic options to be physically prepared for longer gaming sessions.
The change from a TN to an IPS panel clearly benefits the image display...
