The ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) is a motherboard in ATX format for gamers and overclockers. Two PCIe 4.0 slots in x16 format are available for graphics cards, which are directly connected to the Ryzen 3000 processor via a total of 16 PCIe 4.0 lanes. Another PCIe x16 slot is connected to the chipset via 4 lanes. Furthermore, this X570 mainboard offers functions such as WLAN 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.0, a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port, two network chips (Intel I211AT, Realtek RTL8125-CG), on-board sound (SupremeFX), reinforced PCIe slots as well as numerous internal headers and OC features. PCI Gen. 4.0 only works in combination with a 3rd Gen. Ryzen processor (Ryzen 3/5/7/9 3xxx).
