The ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero is an ATX motherboard designed for gamers and overclockers. It features two PCIe 4.0 slots in x16 format, which are directly connected to the Ryzen 3000 processor via a total of 16 PCIe 4.0 lanes. An additional PCIe x16 slot is connected to the chipset via 4 lanes. This X570 motherboard also offers features such as a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port, two network chips (Intel I211AT, Realtek RTL8125-CG), onboard sound (SupremeFX), reinforced PCIe slots, as well as numerous internal headers and overclocking features. PCI Gen. 4.0 only works in combination with a 3rd Gen. Ryzen processor (Ryzen 3/5/7/9 3xxx).
