Theoretisch wie praktisch dank MIMO-3x3 Unterstützung wohl einer der schnellsten WLAN Adapter auf dem Markt. Was fehlt, sind DFS und eine qualitativ hochwertig umgesetzte Software. Das macht die Bedienung des Modells nicht un bedingt einfacher.
Mit der PCI-Express-Karte Asus PCE-AC68 für rund 80 Euro rüsten Sie Ihren PC mit einem WLAN-ac-Empfänger mit drei Antennen aus. Die gemessenen Datenraten von maximal 425 MBit/s im Labor sind sehr gut. Unter Praxisbedingungen konnten wir aber nur 53 MBit/s (im Durchschnitt) messen, was nicht sonderlich viel ist.
