ASUS equips the RTX 2060 Super in the STRIX version with an efficient triple-fan cooling system. Additionally, the heatsink of the RTX 2060 has been increased to 2.5 slots. The MaxContact technology used in the heat spreader allows for up to twice the contact with the GPU chip, resulting in improved heat transfer.

The 0dB technology enables the fans to stop spinning when the core temperature of the graphics processor is below 55 degrees Celsius, allowing you to enjoy less demanding games in complete silence. As temperatures rise, the fans automatically restart.

The Super models of the GeForce RTX family offer more video memory and an increased number of shader cores compared to their standard RTX predecessors. With this product refresh, Nvidia fully meets the needs of demanding games with ray tracing effects. Nvidia positions the GeForce RTX 2060 Super slightly below a regular GeForce RTX 2070. It uses the TU106 chip known from the RTX 2070, with 2176 active shader processors and 14 Gbps GDDR6 memory. A GeForce RTX 2060 Super is fast enough for ray tracing at 1080p or 1440p.
