The ASUS BW-16D1X-U is a powerful Blu-ray disc drive that can write BD-R media at 16x speed. USB 3.0 enables high burning speeds, and with BDXL support, up to 128 GB of data can be stored on a single disc. The professional backup software Nero BackItUp, Power Backup, provides an extremely reliable backup solution.

With USB 3.0, data can be transferred up to ten times faster than with USB 2.0. Thanks to the extremely fast 16x writing speed, it only takes 10 minutes to create a backup of 25 GB of data. The ASUS BW-16D1X-U supports Mac OS X and Windows without the need for additional software installation and is ready to use immediately after being connected to the USB port of a laptop or PC. The ASUS BW-16D1X-U offers a complete, easy-to-use backup solution.
